It's Saturday morning in the raccoon house. 
	  
Parker and Punky's mom, Mrs. Racoosin, wants to clean up the attic.

Parker does not want to clean the attic. He wants to play with this friends, Pandish and Rusty.

"But Mom. I was going to play with Pandish and Rusty today," he says. "I do not want to clean the attic today"

Mom shakes her head. "No. We're going to clean it up today," she says.

Punky does what Parker does. 

" Please Mom. Can't we clean the attic in a few weeks?" she asks. But mom does not answer.

Mrs. Racoosin goes up the attic stairs.

"What a mess," she says as she sees all the boxes filled with old clothing, broken lamps, and other things.

"This place is messy," she says again.
